- mixing spoon
Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber
- 8-12 ounces large strawberries
- 1 tablespoon chopped tarragon
- 3 tablespoons dry white wine
- pinch of caster sugar*
- salt
- pepper
*Caster sugar is somewhere between granulated sugar and powdered sugar. If you can’t find it at your grocer, the recipe recommends grinding down granulated sugar to be a little less granular. Do not use powdered sugar.
Clean and cut cucumber and strawberries.
Plate cucumbers and strawberries, alternating pieces of cucumber and strawberry.
In a bowl, combine dry white wine, caster sugar, and tarragon. Stir.
Drizzle dressing over cucumbers and strawberries.
Season with salt and pepper. Chill until ready to serve.
